Menopause isn’t just something women go through. It changes their partners too. This is a dedicated place for men (and women or couples) to share stories, deepen understanding, and navigate “the pause between us.”
It’s more than a platform—it’s a movement.
At its core, The Pause Project is about mental and emotional wellbeing during one of life’s most challenging transitions. Through a growing body of work—including the book “The Second Menopause,” the podcast “The PauseCast,” and the live workshop series “The Pause Between Us”—we’re creating a space and community where silence ends, and shared understanding begins.
Founded by Jordan Waid, a man who’s been through menopause twice—once with his ex-wife of 18 years, and again with his next partner of 8 years—it aims to explore the often-overlooked impact menopause can have on men and on the relationships that once felt invincible, unshakable... unbreakable.
This is where the often unheard partner finds a voice and where men feel seen by the women they love. A space where both are met with empathy and presence, not confusion or distance. Together—not apart—we learn to navigate the pause.
